Religious vocations of men and women from Queen of Peace Parish:
Presently there seems to have no one in the Parish record who have taken
a religious life from the Parish of Queen of Peace.
Nota
Bene:
The Catholic
Directory of the Diocese of Bacolod 2008 indicated 1954 as the foundation of
the Queen of Peace Parish. The
literature from the Lorenzo Ruiz Mission Society (LRMS): Filipino Chinese Apostolate (1949-1999) 50 years and the parish
programs: Msgr. John B. Liu, P.A. Golden
Sacerdotal Jubilee; 35 St. Mary’s Association, Queen of Peace Parish; 25th
year of Missionary Apostolate and 40 Years of Evengelization seemed to indicate 1954 as the arrival of the Chinese missionaries and 1957 as the
foundation of the Queen of Peace Chapel.
The researcher
chose 1957 as the foundation of Queen of Peace Parish because it was the date
when then Fr. John Liu stayed in the Chapel of the Queen of Peace.

The
Church of the Poor
The Queen of Peace Parish outreach

poor. Its constant scholarship program,
feeding program and catechism for the poor children made the church alive in
the lives of economically challenged parishioners.
